About The Lakewood Ranch Community Fund

The Lakewood Ranch Community Fund was established in 2000 to serve the people and interests of the Lakewood Ranch community and allow donor-allocated funds to stay in our region, serving a variety of charitable interests. Until 2021, grants were made by The Lakewood Ranch Community Fund of the Manatee Community Foundation. In 2021, Lakewood Ranch Community Fund, Inc. received its own 501(c)(3) exemption and will be responsible for all grants going forward. The Board of Directors and Executive Director of the Lakewood Ranch Community Fund, Inc. (the “Fund”) are responsible for seeking out  donations, reviewing grant applications and distributing funding.
